Reunification of the Korean Peninsula

Throughout 2021 and extending into 2022, the Universal Peace Federation has focused its attention on the search for a breakthrough in peace on the Korean Peninsula. UPF’s programs, including its Rally of Hope series, its International Leadership Conference series, and the Think Tank 2022 Global Forum series of virtual online discussions on issues of mutual interest among the trilateral allies of the U.S. Korea and Japan. With the stresses existing in the Korea-Japan relationship, this series has engaged experts and leaders from across the globe, and touched the minds and hearts of millions.

Host Organization

The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) is a global network of individuals and organizations dedicated to building a world of peace in which everyone can live in freedom, harmony, cooperation and prosperity.

There are many critical challenges facing our world at this time, from poverty and climate change to conflict and inequality. At the same time, the rise of civil society initiatives and the expansion of "track two" diplomatic efforts involving people-to-people relations, provide new dynamics that can complement and support the work of governments in the search for solutions to our world's most pressing problems.

UPF has developed a strong track record of accomplishment. Our commitment to service, partnership and cooperation are hallmarks of our work. Through forums, seminars, conferences, service programs and interfaith peace initiatives, UPF is building a global network of peacebuilders to contribute to a world of sustainable peace in which everyone can live in freedom, harmony, cooperation and prosperity.

UPF was founded by Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.
